I've had to move the date for this, It was originally supposed to happen on Oct. 12th, I'm moving it to Sunday Oct. 26th. I've only gotten 2 responses from people willing to do this. That's nowhere near enough to make any kind of impact.

Where are The Click Five's fans? Where are you guys, I don't understand why no one wants to do this. We love TC5, we should all try to do whatever we can to make stuff happen for them. So what if stuff didn't work in the past, that's the past and that's where it should stay. The past shouldn't and can't effect the future unless we let it. If we continue to e-mail these places about the guys, and we keep doing it, and keep doing it, we're bound to get some kind of reaction. Come on you guys, where's your enthusiasm and optimism? We can do this, we can make this happen, if we don't let ourselves be defeated by being ignored by these places and continue to persevere, we CAN make something happen. Don't give up, have faith, the end result will be worth it. If we, their fans who love them give up, who else is going to do this? There's no one else left to do it. If we give up, there is no one to fall back on to pick up the slack. We're it. Find your determination, we CAN make an impact, there's power in numbers. Please, do it for the guys, they're incredibly talented and they deserve for the world to know it. I've done my best to try to motivate everyone, if no one responds to this now, I don't know what to else I can possibly do.

Please, all you need to take is 10 minutes to write your own letter, and send me comment to be put in the master petition e-mail. All the e-mail addresses are here, you can use the song and review links I gave. All you have to do is write a letter, everything else is taken care of, please. Frowner

Hi everyone! Smiler

I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s noticed that TC5 has hardly been mentioned in any U.S. magazines. Every month for practically a year it’s been Jonas Brothers, Miley, Zac, Vanessa, Demi, and whoever, which is fine but, they never put anyone new. I think it’s time they did. The guys are incredibly talented and their talent deserves to be recognized.

Now, you’re probably wondering what the heck a “Mass Click Break-out” is, lol. Let me explain. My friend and I have come up with a plan. We found mag and radio station e-mails, and even Oprah. If a whole bunch of us e-mail all these magazines and radio stations together on the same day, that’s bound to get some attention. I really think this can work. A whole bunch of Jonas Brothers fans flooded Oprah with letters to put JB on her show, and she did. If it worked for them, and we do the same thing, why shouldn’t it work for TC5? (Note: I’m not comparing TC5 to JB in any way.)

Here’s how it would work: Each one of us writes a personal letter to send to the magazines, radio stations, and most definitely Oprah, containing information about The Click Five, how great they are and how they should be featured in the mag/on the radio, and links to some of their songs, and pics of them too. Then, I would send a “Master E-mail” to finish it off. The master e-mail would contain info about TC5 and short comments from all of us about how much we love them. It would be like signing a petition.

If you want to participate in this, I was thinking the day to send the e-mails to the mag editors/radio stations/Oprah, could be Sunday, Oct. 26th. That way, 1. It would give 2 weeks for enough people to see this notice, and for everyone to write their e-mails, and 2. The e-mails would be there for the mag editors to see when they come in to work on Monday morning. Even if you’re not in the U.S., please participate, we need as many people as possible. I’ve put all the mag and radio e-mail addresses below, some are direct e-mails and some are links to contact pages. If you also wish to “sign” the “Master/Petition E-mail,” you can send your name or pseudonym, age, country, city, state, or whatever info you feel comfortable giving, along with your comment, to my e-mail: theclickfiverockoutloud@gmail.com If possible, I think it’s best to keep your comment to no more than 3 to 4 sentences.

For your personal e-mails, the subject lines should have THE CLICK FIVE at the beginning of it and say something eye catching about the guys, it’d be best if it was in all CAPS. I think we should start off the e-mails with the guy’s credentials, you know, how their album went gold; they’ve won this award, stuff like that. Because whoever gets these e-mails, most likely gets tons of e-mails about different artists and if they open any of ours, it needs to keep their attention. Also, it should have links to some of their songs. I’m putting the e-mail I’m going to send in a separate post, if anyone wants to use it to get an idea. You can use the same links as I did if you want; almost all of them have slideshows of pics that play during the song, so I thought that was good. I labeled the links like I did because I felt those songs showed the diversity in their music and plus, it makes it easy for the mag editor to choose what type of song he/she wants to look at.

If we all work together on this, I think we can really make a difference. I hope you all decide to do it. Don’t forget, the day to send your personal e-mails to mags/radio stations/Oprah would be Sunday, Oct 26th. AND, if you want your comment in the “Master/Petition E-mail,” please send it to theclickfiverockoutloud@gmail.com no later than Oct. 24th. (if anyone has a prob. with any of the dates, please tell me and we can figure out something better). Thanks for reading this, if anyone finds any other mag or radio station e-mail addresses, please post them. Thanks again, I’m sorry this is so long, I just wanted to make sure I explained everything. The e-mail addresses are below. I’ll put the e-mail I’m going to send to the magazines in a separate post. I really think this will work.

Here's the e-mail I'm going to send, everyone can use it as an example or to get an idea if they want. It would have to be be edited a bit to be sent to Oprah and radio stations though. Smiler

Subject Line: HOT BAND THE CLICK FIVE, GOLD RECORD HOLDERS

Dear _______ magazine,

My name is Katie, I'm 16, and I live in Southern California. I want to tell you about the totally awesome rock/pop band, The Click Five. Please read my e-mail all the way through, I promise you won't regret it. Seeing as I am a teenager, I have the best perspective of what your readers would be interested in.

The Click Five come from Boston and are a truly amazing band. Featuring them in your magazine would be one of the best decisions you could make. Right now they're incredibly famous in Asia and the Philippines, and their most recent album, "Modern Minds And Pastimes," just went gold in Singapore. And the album only came out last year! They just finished their 2nd tour of Asia and they've sold out many of their concerts. Thousands of people have shown up to their concerts and multiple fans had to be carried out on stretchers after some, because of how wild people got for them. Their hit single, "Jenny," was NUMBER ONE on the charts in Asia for FIVE WEEKS IN A ROW! At the MTV Asia Awards on August 2nd, they won the "Knockout Award" for having the biggest impact on the Asian youth. People really love them, and once you listen to their music and see how greatly they interact with their fans, you'll easily see why.

Their music is the type that anyone would like and easily relate to, and they would instantly become popular. They write all their own songs, play their own instruments, and are just an extremely talented bunch of easily likable, funny, and incredibly attractive guys. The band consists of: Ben Romans (keyboards), Joey Zehr (drummer), Kyle Patrick (Lead vocals, rhythm guitarist), Joe Guese (Lead guitarist), and Ethan Mentzer (Bassist). All the members of the band attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, which is a highly prestigious school. Your readers would instantly become fans of theirs because once you get to know them, it's absolutely impossible not to like them.

They aren't that well known in the U.S. yet, but all that can change if you gave them a spot in your magazine. I've been a loyally devoted fan of theirs for over 2 years and I wouldn't have written you this e-mail, or taken up your valuable time, if I truly didn't believe in them. I KNOW that you and everyone else will love them once you give them a shot. All I ask is that you take just 10 minutes to check out their music, please, just give them a chance. I've put links to some of their songs, a couple of their music videos and a concert review. Please, 10 minutes is all I ask, you won't regret it. Thank you for giving me a few moments of your time, I truly appreciate it.

Yes, that would totally rock!!!! I hope you and everyone will do it. I think if a whole mass of e-mails hit Oprah/magazines/radio stations, it'll really make an impact.

Oh, I didn't know. I thought I would start this thread to get everyone to e-mail Oprah and stuff on the same day so it'll really make an impact, instead of just a few of us randomly e-mailing places at different times. If the e-mails all hit at once, the mag editors/radio stations/Oprah will see this massive amount of people all talking about the same thing and they might wonder, "Wow, all these people are into this same band and are requesting them. Maybe it's worth looking into, this could be really big." I think it's worth a shot, you never know what could happen.

Thanks for telling me about the other thread. Smiler I'll go look for it, we need to e-mail as many places as possible.

hello, everyone. i am said friend that helped to come up with this idea. i really think this could work if you all can get your friends to help us out too. we need all the help and support that we can get for the time being. you can even get your family members to help out as well. i really think this can work out, but everyone needs to pitch in and help too. get as many people to help as you can and make sure to send you piece to theclickfiverockoutloud@gmail.com so that we can send the master email. thanks for taking the time to read these posts from us. i know that they are a little lengthy, but that's only because we have a lot of information that needs to be said and seen.

1) i hope you didn't go look for all of them yourself, because there's a post-- http://boards.lavarecords.com/artists/theclickfive/foru...9/m/2801084047/p/1-- there.
2) if everyone sends the same e-mail then they'll ignore it, and even if they didn't, the fact they're getting so many in one day will turn them off.
2) don't waste your time, even if they did listen, click won't be in magazines/tv shows and shit. trust me on that one.

if you go through with this, i wish you all the luck in the world because you WILL need it.
