You and Me

I can hear you laughing.

You're off telling jokes again. It's what you do best.

There's a chorus of laughter and you catch my eye. Everyone's around you trying to get your attention but you're staring at me with the hint of a smile on your face. It's like I'm the only one in the room. I smile and get up from my seat. I can feel your eyes following me. I wink at the door and you look like you've been caught by suprise but then you smile and nod slightly.

It feels like forever before I can hear your heavy footsteps coming at a quick pace down the hallway. I'm leaning against the wall, just by the door.

Any second now.

The door bursts open and there you are. I pull you to me and with a quick smirk you kiss me. I know you want me; you stared at me all through the concert and before and after. You got what you wanted before the show but you're still coming back for more. "No." I whisper and push you back just enough to see your face. You pout, knowing I can hardly resist it. Your eyes are shining; even in the dark I can see them clearly. You place a hand on either side of my head, on the wall, and kiss me again.

You smile against my lips.

I love it when you smile.

"Please?" you murmur and press a kiss to my jawline. It's featherlight and just barely there, but I feel it and close my eyes. It's starting to get a little hot in this room, this abandoned dressing room that nobody ever uses anymore. It's the perfect place to be at a time like this.

I open my eyes and you're closer now. Your body is just barely pressed against mine and your nose is touching my cheek. You're waiting to kiss me again but you're being a tease because you want it. I sigh and dig my fingers into the front of your shirt, holding on tightly and pulling you even closer. You softly press your lips against mine but just as quickly you pull away. You kiss my jawline and I can feel your eyelashes fluttering against my cheek.

You whisper my name, lips still against my skin, and I shudder. I can feel the goosebumps forming along my arms and chest. You chuckle and press another kiss to my jaw. Your lips brush across my skin lightly. You move to my ear and kiss just below the lobe. I shudder again and my eyes close.

"Please?" you whisper more urgently, lips brushing against the shell of my ear.

"No." I whisper back and open my eyes. I ball up the front of your shirt and get you as close as possible. You frown and lift your head to look into my eyes. We're standing so close, almost as if the room is tiny and it's the only room we have. But we have all the room in the world. I just want you close to me; just to feel you there and know you still exist.

You open your mouth to question me but I silence you with another kiss. Your hand drops from the wall and lands on my hip. You try you're hardest to get me closer and when you can't that frown adorns your pretty face. I smile, shaking my head. I release your shirt and you press your upperbody tighter against me now that my hand is out of the way. I can feel the wall digging into my entire backside but it's worth it because you're the one that's against me and it's your hands that are touching me.

"Kiss me." I demand quietly, hint of amusement behind it.

And you do.

You kiss me with everything you have. It's as if you're afraid I'll disappear when you move away. Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere. I can feel every nerve in my body catch on fire as you kiss me harder, deeper. I love it when you kiss me like this. Especially when we're alone and taking stolen moments. Stolen moments are the best because it's just me and you and nobody else.

I cradle your face in my hands and gently pry you away from me. You groan and try to kiss me some more. With a chuckle I say your name, "Ethan," and place my hands on your chest. You smile at me and put your hands atop mine.

Suddenly there's footsteps coming our way. I carefully push you away and you open the door, holding my hand and leading me out. The others barely notice us as we jog down the hall and out the doors. You're hands go to my waist, holding me close, as we make our way to the tour bus. The door closes behind you.

Once again it's just you and me.
