well, basically the whole book was like that. in the sense that every time a conflict came up, by some miracle there was an exception. every single time.

that was the biggest problem i had with the book. it was pretty lame because of it.
but the fact that they got to stay happy forever was pretty good. i mean, how else would she have ended the books?

but seriously, i read somewhere tha SM said it wasn't possible for vampires to have kids because his sperm is frozen. it doesn't make sense!

to be fair though, i went back and read how she answered the question when they asked her on twilight lexicon and she said that vampires can't have babies because a females body can't change so it can't grow inside her and if a pregnant woman was turned into a vampire she would be pregnant forever.
and i think in another question she said that their bodily fluids are frozen, except for like venomish spit or whatever.
i dont think that she ever flat out said edwards sperm is frozen, its a bunch of 'he said she said' things. she planned on edward and bella having a baby before twilight was even published,so she obviously wanted to answer the question in a way that would throw everybody off. and props to her, because it completely did.

true, but still if their bodily fluids are frozen, then there still wouldn't be a way for him toget her pregnant. gah this is a good question to ask her in a Q&A.

I wouldn't be surprised if she tried to explain it with something along the lines of: after the penetration, the warmth of Bella's body unfroze the sperms.
