why are people so against gays? im not, but i happen to have two very good friends who are both gay. i was talknig with some people today and they were basically dissing anyone who is gay. i couldnt stand it, so i asked what is so wrong with being gay? all they could say is i dont know, its just....weird. why are your friends gay?
how the fuck should i know WHY theyre gay? who gives a shit?! theyre people, it doesnt matter if they like guys or girls. i cant STAND it when people talk about gay people in that way.

it's just so frustrating. i've had so many fights with a few friends about homosexual people, the topic is pretty much a taboo topic whenever we have discussions.

they can't understand why and how men can like other men and women can like other women. i always put it this way: "you see them together as weird, they take you with a member of the opposite sex as weird. it's pretty much the same."

I have one gay friend, and honestly, he's just as nice and sweet as everyone else I know. And I have this guy friend, he offends my gay friend a lot.
When we talk, he always says "germs", I ask him not say it because the person has a name!
Gay or not, he's still a great person. I don't know why some people discriminate, I mean, we're all people anyway.

Religion is the main reason why people are "against" being gay. I am not going to get into that discussion because I could harp on that for days, but just know that by stating your point that you have no problem with gay people, there will always be people against what you're saying.

I am definitely against homosexuality 100%. I think it is beyond disgusting and sinful. The end.

i basically have no qualms about homosexuality unless one tries to force it upon me. homosexuality is a taboo in society because its how society is shaped i guess. what it all comes down to is that we're all products of society.

but i dont disguise them..
coz for me they're normal ppl with a wrong way..

It's not like I'd want to openly diss them or be mean on purpose just because they're like that, but I don't support it. I know they're people too, and I have no problems being nice to/being friends with any of them (but I don't know any), it's just that I don't agree that they're like that because "God made them that way" or they were "born like that".

It's a choice they make, whether they know it or not, and that's why I don't support it.

and omg do not even say for a second they CHOOSE it. that is not true at all. i know a few gay guys (one being one of my best friends my whole life) and most of them had said that it would be easier for them if they weren't gay. so you would rather them deny who they are and be miserable and alone? or find someone else who is like them and be happy?
btw, there are studies done (omg science?!) with identicial twins who have been seperated at birth, and almost all the time if one of them is gay, the other is too. it's biological. just like peoples blonde hair or blue eyes. whatever. did you know blue eyes is a mutation? do you shun your friends with blue eyes and tell them they are disgusting and they better make those eyes brown right away?

i think we'd best not bring religion into this as people always do :\ things just get a little heated/complicated.
