Well I guess I'm gonna share and promote a (my) local band Big Grin

They're Aussies, and not just that, they're from MELBOURNE!!

They're gonna tour US pretty soon, in October, so you Americans would have a chance to see them if you like their music. They're pretty good.

They're kicking it off in Boston on October 2nd, with Atomic Tom and *(EDITED!! SORRY I DIDN'T KNOW IT'S SUPPOSSED TO BE A 'SECRET' LOL) - it's gonna be a great show and if you're on this board and are in Boston, you WON'T regret going to this show!! *wink wink*

I hadn't heard of The Wellingtons until you made this thread, Davs, but I've been putting their songs on repeat since I gave them a listen. They're really catchy.

I KNOW, it's really catchy and I got Come Undone stuck in my head right now. So I thought I'd share Wink

I just came back from their show like.... 20 minutes ago. It's their last one in Australia before they head overseas. They're really good. I just got familiar with them recently but I THINK I saw them opening for The Click Five at POW. IF it WAS them. Did you go? I really can't remember much from that night coz everything was so overwhelming - seeing TC5 and all.

Oh also, now they blog at One Love. How cool is that?

I rather love their song Yeah Yeah Yeah haha. They're great. I want to buy their albums but I need to pay off my credit card first before I do anything.

I did go to the POW gig. I'm pretty sure it was a band called Capeside who supported TC5.
I thought they were absolutely brilliant as well. It was a really good night out.

I did see that! I got quite excited.
Australia's representing hahaha

I didn't actually see the opening band, just heard it coz I was sitting with my sister and her friend. I did remember they sound pretty good but yeah, like I said I didn't really see them so I didn't know what they look like. I just remembered there was a girl with keyboard?? I think. Well, there's a girl in the band.

I REALLY want their new album, but. it's only out in Japan. It should be out in Australia soon but even they don't even know when. I guess they haven't got a distributor or something, I don't know. I tried to look up Japanese record stores website to see if I can order it online but... uhm they're in Japanese?! Haha. So I guess I'll wait.

Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah is from Keeping Up With The Wellingtons Album. I still haven't decided which one I like best!! LOL.
