=[.
The end killed me too, Kayleigh. Not even Eric, but the fact that they were releasing their first CD. We were all [well not all of us, but some of us] here at home, waiting for our copies to come. The few that went at midnight or first thing in the morning and made them dig the boxes out of the back. They were so happy about that. I'm sure they were just as happy about MMAP and Kyle probably almost peed his pants out of excitement because I know I would, but I guess it was different the first time around. They were a new band and the boardie family was just starting. I remember how proud of them I was. & not to sound mean to the rest of you, but I'm so fucking glad I was around for that. God help me, I was like 13 and couldn't contain myself. I may have been a bit teenie, okay a lot. I may have actually gotten 'star struck' when I met Joey and talked for 2 hours about how Ben said more than just hi to me, but it was all worth it. I really don't even care how ridiculous and embarassing I was and how I would hate myself if I joined right now, I'm just glad I can look back on it. |

Dude, there's really no denying that pretty much the vast majority of the people who were around then were insane teenies, myself included. I'm so glad I became a part of these boards, though, because it's because of them that I grew out of it and everything. <3<3<3

Haha aw.
I remember my friends mom was like I just met him and I was like =O no you didn't! She was like yeah and he just got outta the shower so his hair was all wet and he wasn't wearing a shirt and he was having trouble with the bus door so I walked over and helped him. I didn't believe her. She went up to him in the m&g line and he was like HEY! thanks for the help before! haha nerd. |

seriously. everything you said is so true. we were all so excited in our lame way, so proud of "our" boys, so excited every time we got to see them live. it was such a different time then. i miss it. and i pity all the new fans that weren't a part of that time and those feelings. |
